GRRR was granted the official 501(c)(3) status in the state of Ohio in July 2003. We concentrate on rescuing & saving Golden Retriever & Golden Retriever mixed dogs in northwest Ohio, select areas of Dayton and Columbus, southeast MIchigan & northeast Indiana. We are comprised solely of volunteers, meaning no one gets paid. We rely strictly on fundraising and donations to support all our rescue efforts, including normal and extraordinary medical veterinary care. 100% of the monies received goes directly to a dog's care. GRRR also takes in owner surrenders from people that are no longer able to care for their Golden.
